I was a victim and the case was brought up when I was 20 almost 10years after it had happened! I went through school and psych wards for suicide and told everyone what had happened to me and nothing was done, I was just a psychotic child.
Fast forward to 2020
When my predator was told about court and got investigated the police did nothing to protect me! He showed up outside my home, I was walking to a Walmart once and he drove by 5times trying to hit me with his car! And not only that, he killed himself with a gun before court with a note saying he wished he took my life and my mothers life!!..
now I have to live with the weight of being raped as a child and the guilt of someone who killed themselves all because the system failed me.
I seen other girls and boys go through this into adulthood with no help but the support of other victims who also don’t know what to do…
